For The Herons

A lovely walk along the waterfront in the little town of Havre de Grace near my home allowed Master to capture this image.  And I had to share.  This lovely Blue Heron made me think instantly of Swan, T, and Tom, hoping that your vacation is wonderful.

    I am so very glad you all enjoyed your trip. And while this photo is very artistic, and due to the lighting (almost sunset and we were facing the sun) not as detailed as the Heron appeared in person, it was still quite beautiful to behold. I loved the quiet and calm and peace of this creature, even as it was surrounded by myriad ducks and coots and gulls all busily splashing about and coming and going. This bird seemed put there to show me a serenity, to remind me that all would be well, and that all was, in fact, well.

    It warmed my heart and allowed me to let go some of the worry for the 3 of you which had been my companion for this past while.
